She also created and hosts a new show called The Parent Show. She has been changing the way children watch television for over fifteen years and her ability to integrate education, entertainment and active participation have helped her programs become very popular with kids and their families. I know I am more than happy to have my daughter sit down for a bit and watch one of these educational shows!
I had a chance to interview Angela and she talks about how she attempts to balance her work life and home life while raising two children. It goes back to what I wrote about in another post about the impractical goal of attempting to balance it all. Sometimes things have to give, but in the end if we just do our best that is all we can do.
It sounds like Angela is doing just fine and is an inspiration to go after what you love to do and to do it well! Have you always known that you wanted to create educational programs for kids? How and when did you get your big break?

The rest of the video is kind of a blur after that. Trust me, no exaggeration here.
What I love about mommy blogging events is that at times you get to take your kids along. Well other than the PBS guys providing childcare and lunch for the kids and us the kids were also entertained by the Curious George and Martha from Martha Speaks characters who popped in to surprise the kids. While we settled ourselves to a roundtable discussion and presentation I waited anxiously to see this woman who was behind the wonder of Super Why.
They meet in the library to decide to solve the problem, and then transform capes and all and head out on the Y-Flyers to get into a story to seek the answer through a familiar character in a story with a similar predicament. I know that you are reading a blog post because time is of the essence so I will try and condense this posts even though there is so much to say.
I felt left out. I know you are the creator of Super Why.
